Teaching you how to implement coordination is one of our top priorities. The process itself is not difficult to learn. Understanding where the coordination authority comes from in the statues and how to put these to work in your community takes training, but once you understand these principles, there is no limit to what you can accomplish.
Organized into eight (8) sessions, you will learn everything from the basic concepts to implementing the process, all in one day. You will move step-by-step through our workbook, guiding you through the development of an action plan for your issue. When the course ends, you will have your first coordination strategy outline and a plan to get you started.
Coordination is most successful when citizens and elected officials come together, so we have developed this course to be taught in your community. In this way, citizens, elected officials and experts can all benefit learning the important role each plays to ensure successful implementation of coordination well into the future.
